How to read the columns
Struck counts figures in circulation about the brand that this desk holds and will not publish, each with its reason on the report. A high number means a lot has been written about a bookmaker and much of it did not survive a check. It is not a mark against the company.
Corrected counts things this record itself used to say and no longer says. That column is about us, not about them, and a publication that never fills it is either very lucky or is not looking.
Open counts questions the research could not settle. They are printed rather than dropped, because a question that quietly disappears from a file is how a guess becomes a fact three passes later.
